What is the SLP Locator?
SLP Locator is based on the simple premise that, in order for someone to fully benefit from AAC, they must first find a knowledgeable SLP.
Like many of the Physician Referral databases online today, SLP Locator is a valuable resource for consumers and caregivers who are trying to locate SLPs or clinics in their area. Ideally, they are searching for SLPs who are familiar with and active in areas like AAC, speech-generating devices, therapy and funding. This listing includes voluntary descriptive information about each SLP practice, including preferred method of contact, areas of specialization (e.g., adult or children) and types of insurance/funding accepted.
This site is sponsored by DynaVox Technologies. A group of Speech-Language Pathologists who are currently enrolled in the DynaVox DREAM program and provide services to individuals using advanced AAC solutions have been invited to register to be listed on the website. These SLPs are individual practitioners who have no relationship to DynaVox. Their participation is strictly voluntary and they receive no financial or other incentives as a result of this listing.
